Photos taken at Upokongaro. My sister and brother-in-law came over to visit, so we decided to travel up the Whanganui river on the Waimarie paddle steamer. It's a three-hour round trip with and hour to look around the small settlement on State Highway four. The image on the right is of St. Mary's church with its distinctive three-sided tin spire.
