We went downtown to look at the stores at the Pike Market between Pike and Pine streets. I came across a Mexican store that had contemporary ceramics and postcards. The owner very graciously showed me a couple of ex-votos from Mexico that she had in stock. K bought eight small milagro pieces, a couple of arms and legs, a house and some cattle. Seattle is rife with second-hand bookstores. I may have to give into my temptations just a couple of times.
